Cording Foot Set 3/16" for Sailrite® Fabricator®, 111 & Big-N-Tall

This 3/16" cording foot set is engineered to take curves perfectly without getting stuck or walking over the cording. This set is recommended for sewing firm piping with a 3/16" diameter or smaller (inclusive of the cord and the fabric). This generally means it is a great choice for cording of 5/32" diameter or smaller. It is the wrapped diameter of the cording that should determine the appropriate size of the cording foot. Set includes both the inside and outside feet.

Please Note: When this cording foot is used with the 5/32" medium welting cord and thin upholstery fabric/vinyl, it works great. However, if the fabric is thick it will not work as well. If you plan to sew with a thick fabric, a larger cording foot is best. When the assembly is too large for any standard cording foot it might become necessary to use a zipper foot to create and sew piping. This foot set is best suited for woven upholstery fabrics rather than vinyl.
