Tension Release Pin for Ultrafeed®, Leatherwork® and Stitch Master® Sewing Machines. There is a actuation paddle within the sewing machine that presses against this pin to force the thread tension plates to open. When the presser foot of the machine is lifted, the paddle presses against the pin releasing the upper thread, making it possible to remove the sewn work easily.
